Better Memory, Learning, Reading and Attention Skills

Who are we?

BrainAbility is a group of cognitive testing and training centers that offers unique, research based programs which dramatically enhance learning ability - for both struggling and advanced students.

Our unique power comes from precise cognitive skills testing, and our individualized, one-on-one cognitive skills (brain skills) training offered in-centre and online.

From 6-year old students to senior adults, our customized cognitive brain training can benefit anyone who wants to train and strengthen the underlying foundational skills the brain uses to think, read, learn, remember, and pay attention.

With a faster, smarter brain, life is easier!

Our individualized, internationally used, one-on-one cognitive development programs are helping individuals remember better, focus more and think faster.

Whether you're an average, advanced or struggling child or adult, with a faster, smarter brain, life (and learning) is so much easier!

All it takes, is 3 easy steps:

Step 1

We begin with a Cognitive Skills Assessment to identify which of your cognitive skills may be showing signs of weakness. During the COVID-19 period, the assessment is done online from the safety and security of your home or office. The assessment is used in more than 46 countries around the world and available in 23 languages, including English and Afrikaans.

The Gibson Test of Cognitive Skills scientifically measures the performance of seven key cognitive skills.

The test will tell us why you or your child are experiencing certain challenges and show you which cognitive skills may need to be targeted and strengthened to experience real change.

Step 2

The assessment fee includes a detailed feedback consultation to provide you with your test results and options.

The report you will receive following the completion of the assessment will provide us with your cognitive profile and give you a detailed look at individual brain skills (cognitive skills) strengths and weaknesses in each of the cognitive areas. It will also be our guideline for a specific program recommendation.

Step 3

Decide if we're a good fit for you. When you sign up for one of our cognitive development programs, we partner you with a dedicated Cognitive Skills Trainer who guides you through intense but fun brain building exercises. The 1-on-1 training is done remotely during the COVID-19 period, via Zoom from the comfort of your home or office.

Take the 1st Step and schedule your Cognitive Skills Assessment today.

Don't  wait one more day, week or year! A Cognitive Skills Assessment is the 1st step towards pinpointing strong and weak cognitive skills, and gaining the information we need to help you strengthen memory, learning, reading and attention skills.

Cognitive Skills Assessment

An easy and trusted way to test foundational learning skills.

If a child seems willing to learn (and may be getting extra help) yet is having difficulty regardless, he or she likely should be carefully screened for the presence of weak cognitive skills as soon as these discrepancies present themselves - before their self-esteem and willingness to learn suffer unnecessarily.

We therefore recommend a Cognitive Skills Assessment as a first step in understanding a child's learning issues. Click here for more information about the assessment or click here to schedule your assessment.
